"My stomach is growling like crazy..." the red and white male muttered to himself as he made his way across the barren lands of the Colorless Tundra. Not yet had he recieved an answer from the Alpha of the Star Valley, and quite frankly he got a little bored with waiting. He wanted to go search for Butterfly again and see if he could catch that little guy after days of chasing. But alas, there was no sign of his little insect friend anywhere. It didn't seem like anyone was around actually... Phoenix watched his red and white paws in front of him as he continued to walk in a trotting pace.
He leapt over a fallen log and sighed minorly. What was he going to do now...? There was no one here, and he was starting to feel a bit of a chill. He shook his fur lightly looking around. His now soft gray eyes were trailing over the somewhat bare scenery. His fiery red muzzle tilted upwards as he sniffed the cold air. "That's strange... there's no scent around here..." he whispered to no one in particular before setting off once more. "That's entirely too weird..."
Once again his steps slowed, as he had grown tired of walking. He sat back on his haunches looking around. A strange stillness had surrounded him, reminding him of those quiet nights when after a long day of work. It was then that he would look to the stars and howl just because it felt... right. With this in mind, Phoenix turned his maw to the heaven's and let out long, and slow howl. His voice was soft yet bold at the same time, once again sounding almost as if hewas laughing while he sang to the skies.
